I did it.
Past the test.
The bangles are soldered.
Now to clean them up and make them shiny. I added texture to some of the small bangles. That felt good!
I finally got the solder to flow after trying all sorts of ways. It finally worked when I built up a "kiln" like structure to try to keep the heat in to keep the metal hot. Really hot. I used a charcoal block to solder on and I also placed the sliver of solder (it's flat) in between the join to be soldered. I also TURNED UP THE HEAT!
After that finally happening..... I got to beat on them (with Love) on the mandrel to shape them and that felt good after such a struggle.
